New construction

A dream home forty years in the making; built literally from the ground up to meet and defy all expectations.  The home itself was designed to be open, airy and filled with light.  The homes interior embraces these qualities while enhancing them with an exuberant warmth of its own.  Yet before there was a home there was a plate and the home owner’s deepest desire and greatest fear “to live in a yellow home.”  The plate became the inspiration for the entire homes interior design; a home that brings yellow center stage without letting it run the show.

Intro to Interior Design (conceptual design)

Design characteristics are based upon an interpretation of traditional meets modern with the objective being to heighten the senses of relaxation and togetherness. The color scheme is prominently warm colors with hints of cool colors throughout the design. By using a variety of traditional and modern materials a sense of relaxation, sophistication, travel mystique, playfulness and fluidity are incorporated into the design. Throughout the design unexpected elements provide a sense of continual excitement and change. The design has timelessly traditional elements married with ultra-modern elements to create a home that is cohesive yet does not appear to be overly tailored.
